I wasn't commenting on that part of the post -- if you noticed, I addressed my comments to the poster's point that if UVM got to the NCAAs NEXT season, they would automatically get a higher seed.

If you read the post, it was about NEXT year, not this year's seed. My comments were based on the way the selection committee seeds teams -- it's mightly hard for a conference like the AE to move up from a 16 seed if the team who makes the big dance has a weak out of conference schedule -- that's not my opinion -- it's fact. And I'm not from Binghamton.

Sorry, but Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Drake, Marist, the Ivies, and any NEC team are not the kind of competition that gets you to a 15th or better seed. Yes, I agree 100% that AE teams need to beat teams from these "similar" conferences -- that's essential. However, that wasn't the subject.
