Ha, Dim, each family has own rules. I think in our family for boys worked the same phenomenon as during group bathing for boys - our twins weren't very embarrassed by their nudity and till their 12 were bathed completely by mom or me.
I don't remember special teaching in camp about bathing of younger children, although, counselors ("voshatie") controlled process. I bathed boys the same as my brothers, naturally, including bottom and private parts.
