They took off clothes in locker room (of course, there weren't any lockers but benches only)and went in shower room, where in half-room were showers heads and in other place 2 benches, where we bathed boys. May be any from boys resisted took off underpants but it was counselor's responsibility. At least, in shower room all boys went in their birthday suits. I recall, sometimes, rarely enough, some boys tried to resists from bathing (especially, in first week in camp) but 2-3 half-joke half-serious slaps on wet bottom and riot was stopped.
