Yes, bathing time was limited.
Did you wash boys' private parts with a washcloth, or just with soaped palm?

Where did they had to wait for their turn - in shower room or in a locker room? And how did they behave while waiting? I can say that at us every first bathing day in every summer there was few boys in a group were giggling and pointing at those who were already under the showers and older girls washed their privates or bottom. Others including me were just waiting and chatted with each other.
