I have seen the film footage. It is very grainy---to me it seems to be multiple films spliced together. You can make out that it is taken at Champs Aviation (where Buddy took flying lessons) and there is a taupe-colored 1958 Chevy sitting in the airplane hangar.

There are three people who appear in the footage--one unidentified, one looks like Larry Holley and although really, really grain, looks very similar to Buddy Holly.

In any case, it's pretty interesting. I learned about it from Loy P., from England. He is a very dedicated Buddy Holly fan and works hard trying to find new info on Buddy.
