Well there you go!

For some reason, I had always thought that the baby with MEH was a flight of fancy on her behalf. I did read that both Tommy and Waylon knew nothing about it, perhaps over on Rockin' '50's a few years back when the article about Buddy not calling her on 2/3/59 surfaced? If Waylon and Carl knew about it, and there is an article; that changes things, and I'm happy to be corrected.

Buddy's baby from the '50's: There has always been speculation, but never any proof other than hearsay. If you say it is true, I have absolutely no reason to doubt you at all. I know your research is meticulous. What a shame the child is now deceased. I am curious to know if they knew who their father was?

A slight clarification about Eddie Cochran's illegitimate children: When I said their mothers knew, I was referring to who the father of their children was. The children only made themselves known to the Cochran family in recent years, after they were told who their father was. I added this as the same could be possible for Buddy. There could be a child or two out there who might not even know Buddy is their father. Anything is possible.
