Hello Mark, that was a wonderful narration as always of what I’m sure had to be a quite unpleasant situation. Not only you had to cope with the legitimate complains from a worried mom in hysterics, but you also had to process meanwhile the unexpected news about the latest silly brainless mischief from your seemingly still quite childish son. Yes, it seems like that butterfly wasn’t precisely the only one fluttering erratically there.
However, well done of your boy for at least caring to go and apologize. So congrats also to you for acknowledging him over that. At the end, every steps given by our children towards a correct behavior it’s mostly thanks to us. Although I bet he probably thought that apologizing would be enough and he wouldn’t get in further trouble neither with that mom nor with you.
One little girl gets hurt on one cheek with a flat pebble thrown by a careless naughty boy. A regretful naughty boy gives his dad not just one cheek but his two lower ones so he can be properly punished as he cries lying across his lap.

With love,
Mamá.
