I have 3 boys 9- 12 and 15. My two youngest boys have friends who are brothers as well, they were telling me how their friends were grounded for the week, and how terrible they think that is. My youngest piped up and said “we are lucky mommy spanks us instead” his brothers blushed didn’t say anything but nodded yes. They have asked me how I learned to “spank so good”

My boys even though they hate to be spanked would rather be than grounded, that is my choice as well, I'm not dealing with them while being grounded, spankings are now its over and life moves on.

What are your thoughts beliefs of grounding? Have you, do you use grounding and spanking as punishment?
