Years ago at a Broadway store (no longer around) when I was about age 8, I was trying on clothes for the next school year with my mom in a dressing room. As I stepped out of the changing room to hand back a pair of pants that didn't fit, a red in the face mom was dragging her son, about my age to one of the stalls which were open to the ceiling from the top of the door.

I don't know what he did, but the mom slammed the door shut and yelled for the boy to drop his pants and underwear. There was a few pleas from the boy followed by the clanging of his belt hitting the concrete floor, and then a moment of silence before a flurry of hand spanks were applied to his bottom followed by sobbing. It probably lasted less than 30 seconds and before I could get the next larger pair of pants from my mom, the boy was led out by his mom, tears still streaming and he was clutching his bottom. What I also recall was passing smiles by mom and the other as she walked out.
