I'll wager that your son was not sitting comfortably in school Monday. I noticed that as well with the word no. Also as I have said in the past I have and do believe that when we talk to our kids and yes teens as well, we sound like the adults on the old Charlie Brown tv shows "WA WAWA WA WAWAWA" to them, they also had and have selective hearing and memory.

There were times, days when my boys were younger that they also earned a 2nd spanking on the same day from me for a different offence, there were also a couple times preteen and 13 and had that teen attitude when they were given a 2nd spanking same day as with you due to the child being resentful after his first spanking and being sulky and rude hours afterwards.
