we spank long enough and as long as we think it is necessary and needed. A good sound spanking takes some time. It's not done in 30 seconds.
It's totally natural for the kids to complain and whine and beg. It would be strange if they didn't and the spanking is obviously not effective. I don't know, but I think it's at least 5 minutes.
