She smiles at the two friends, not yet able to joke herself. How can I miss someone I never knew? she wonders. She leans against the smooth hide of her dragon's neck.

Then her thoughts turn to loosing the other part of herself: Aghath, her beloved green. Head aching, she falls into a light sleep.
