Now that they have learned the art of flying, they attempt to hone their skills further. Rider mounts his lifemate, who leans back, launching upwards, making the critical downsweep with ease. They rise steadily, each sweep making them soar higher, until they circle easily about the Barracks. At a request from his partner, the blue performs a steep dive, spiraling upwards as he nears the ground. Now they must learn thir next lesson. "Come on Soulth, we must learn to move between!" Hearing this, Soulth nods broad head, faceted eyes whirling a deep violet hue. Rider sends him a clear image of another part of the Barracks, holding his breath as the two plummet into the chilling depths of between. They arrive safely, Soulth bugling, D'ren cheering loudly.
