A tall, broad-shouldered man strolls into the area, a large brown flit perched on his padded shoulder. Nearby, a brown dragon is sprawled in the warm sunlight, basking. Whirling, half-lidded eyes are turned on the rider as he rummages through a pile of new, if dusty, riding straps. He leans back once, to check measurements, before tossing the new set in his hands back into the jumble. "You'd think they'd organize this stuff. Igen's going to be training dragons soon enough." Don't complain. At least this time you won't fall off a few thousand feet up. R'nos shudders convulsively, wiping that memory from the surface as he sticks his head into the pile again. "Ah, finally," he says, pulling out one that should fit. After checking the straps, leather, and softening the material a little bit so it wouldn't chafe against dragon hide, he motions to Leth. "C'mere, lazy. Gotta try this on, and if it fits, you're flying me to that Hatching." Leth lets out a cavernous yawn before rising, ambling over to his rider. R'nos slides the straps on, tightening them for good measure -I do need to breathe, you know- and mounting with ease. (Do accomplished riders mount any other way?) The dragon snakes his head back, glancing at his rider curiously, eyes whirling green. Ready? "Shouldn't I be asking you this?" No. "Alright. Let's go, I don't want to miss anything." I like Alara. "Now that was random." The brownrider looks puzzled. Why would his dragon like a human? Because you do. R'nos laughs heartily. "I like a companion. She's nice to talk to, but I believe you're jumping the gun." Well, I like her. That's why I talked to her. Still chuckling, the rider clamps his riding helmet over sandy brown hair, and grips the riding straps. Leth snorts, leans back, and launches into the air. 'Fly straight,' the rider orders, keeping his gaze straight ahead. Rider afraid of heights. Pitiful. 'Shut up.' The brown powers his way towards the Hatching Sands, enjoying the feel of flight again... far more so than his human partner.
