With a mental message from her rider, she studied Zioth for a moment. Again, she leaned back on her haunches, wings spread above her rough-ridged back. Pushing upward with her hind legs, at the same moment making a large downward sweep with her wings, she rose awkwardly into the air. Again she did this, gaining nearly a foot of altitude. She repeated it many times, now moving forward with the constant beating of her wings. She was moving straight forward, not quite sure of how to turn. "~Tilt one wing to the side, Kiarath!~" Giving it a try, she leaned hard to her left, turning in a half circle, now flying back towards Ralkene. Rider was smiling to herself, the sensation of flying was a wonderous thing.
