I'm hungry and tired and we both need a good scrub.^ Palirth completely agrees and, without warning nor asking her rider, settles back on her haunches then launches herself easily. Eve gasps and grabs the straps, glad of doing this so many times that it's instinct. Palirth, flying easily, warns Eve to hang on and suddenly winks between. In the icy cold, Eve doesn't panic, much to her training's credit; she pictures the Perches firmly and soon they appear again there.~
