Listening eagerly, the boy watches as first D'tir and then T'yin demonstrate the workings of things. He snatches up straps and frowns at them, as most are too short to encompass Kadoth's neck.

"You great big hulk, how'm I supposed to find something that fits you?" He mutters, testing one strap and finding it suitable. Buckling, he swings it around and around, frowning at it. Velvet chitters from his spot on the boy's shoulder. "And you, rafters, please. I don't want my straps eaten." Obeying cheerfully, Velvet wings up beside the other flits, his little blue presence chriping merrily. Kadoth shuts his eyes and instructs his rider on harness fit.

Too snug, now. Okay, a little tighter than THAT. Alright, that will do nicely. Once the straps are in place, the boy searches for a wherhide jacket that will suit his tall skinny self. Finding one that only overlaps a little, he folds the sleeves back and grins recklessly.

"I know I'll need help up on you, so if you please..." The big bronze offers a foreleg with all the dignity he can muster. Even though tall, the boy is still grateful for the help, heaving onto the alloted spot with more than a little huff and puff. Smirking when he reaches his destination, he straps himself in and tests his own placing, mimicking T'yin to a lesser extent. "Whoo, I don't think I'll fall off now."

I wouldn't let you. Trust me. Kadoth remarks almost in passing, idly flexing his talons. Glancing at his friends and then at the masters, A'rak grins and gives a small salute, proud to be riding high, or sitting high rather, on his Kadoth.

"I do believe we're good to go." He calls happily, giving Kadoth's neck an affectionate slap.
