"Told ya I'd be back!" The young tall rider calls as Kadoth swoops back in, talons clicking on the Barrack floor. A'rak hops down, weighted with meatrolls and fishrolls, which he promptly unloads. "I brought you something too, Ky." He walks over and hands her a small cantine filled with near-cold fruit juice. "There, it'll give you back some energy. You look like you need it." He turns just in time to see cracks appear in his egg, and he scrambles over in excitement. A little nose breaks through the shell, the body tumbling afterword. Kadoth leans closer as the little gold blinks into her surroundings. "You got me a gold?" He asks as he watches the little beauty wobble over to him. "Thank you!" The little queen hops onto the boy's forearm and shrills for food. Once he stuffs her completely full, she scrambles up his neck and burrows into the hollow of his shoulder.

She's such a little love, isn't she?

"We need a special name for her, Kadoth. A good name. She looks a bit like my aunt Vera, but Vera's no name for a flit. Hmm...how about just Love? That seems a good name."

A great name. Kadoth agrees, adding to Layath, sometimes he's smarter than he even lets on.
