*The slender girl turns her most charming smile on A'rak as Wrelth belches out a flame nearly twice as large as Kadoth's. "Beat that, you impertinent wherry-brained bronzerider!" Laughing in a summery tone, she grins as she snitches a few meatrolls from A'rak as he returns, gracefully accepting the egg. "Thank you, Kyeri!" Amiably, Seye alights on the girl's padded shoulder, his fish-stuffed weight nearly making her sag. "Big fat brown," she giggles, blue eyes bright, "gonna break my bones." Without warning, she rambles off a ditty in a soprano voice,

"Big brown flitter
Wanted some fishes for dinner
He swooped and he swept
But not a fishy could he collect
So he went to his human
A graceful little woman
And she gave him some packtails
He was packed up to his tail
With fishes!"

Wrelth turns an amazed expression and whirling eyes on his rider, who laughs brightly, before lowering her voice and winking to her companions. "S'sha made that up when she was really young, and she used to sing it for me. But you didn't hear that from me!" Waggling a warning finger, Channa laughs again, then jumps as the egg cradled in her palm twitches. "Ooh boy. Seye, you're gonna have a brother." She gives Kalya/Kyeri/whatever-your-sharding-name-is another appreciative grin, and watches with wide eyes as the baby flitter hatches, clawing out of his shell with still-damp talons. "Ooh, it is a bronze!" she exclaims delightedly, immediately feeding the little one every meatroll she stole from A'rak. Rather ignoring the rest of the group's good-natured chattering, she stuffs the little bronze and cradles him in her hands gently, allowing Seye a sniff and a nudge at the tiny bronze form. "Seye, you might well end up bigger'n him!" she remarks, grinning. "Wrelth? A name, if you please?" Jingle. "Jingle?" Jingle. "Oooookay. Jingle it is." Giggling a bit, she glances back up, tendrils of black hair falling in her eyes. "Food?" she asks hopefully, giving her friends her best pitiful-I'm-hungry look.*
