Make your pond about three feet deep that should be enough for puddle ducks. And if you are going to start withh divers make it at least 5 ft. With a gradual slope to the middle of the pond to acoomidate both puddle and diving ducks. I have a cinnimon teal drake for $30.00+ shipping. I live in minnesota.
