We just talked about that. They all say they want to go barefoot wherever they enjoy, all life long. After all there's not really an age limit, just some jobs that require footwear. But even then there's lots of offices with more relaxed attitudes, small business or jobs that allow working from home, fortunately a career doesn't automatically mean you have to cram your feet into tight shoes all day.

And another thing, we came to the conclusion that carrying it into winter (as far as possible) has the wonderful advantage that there's no need to re-condition your feet once spring is here, they're always ready for everything.
My children have inspired me to do short walks in the snowy garden first thing in the morning and just before going to bed, a refreshing little challenge!
