I don’t like sites that have texts that scroll over an image like that...for me personally, it’s hard on the eyes and gives me a headache. I haven’t visited the old one in quite a while, but I don’t understand why they changed it so drastically. I liked the layout of the old one much better. I liked the photo/video gallery on the old one, and the ability to leave comments (I left a few), the merchandise store, and the forums page. I don’t see any of that on the new websiite. Why not?? It seems kind of sparse. Maybe it is still being developed? Too bad they got rid of all those old stories, comments, and photos. Just my thoughts....
