Given this enduring popularity in Australia, Chris Isaak will be visiting our shores for a dedicated promotional tour, highlighting his ‘Christmas’ album – out now!
Chris and his long standing drummer/offsider Kenney Dale Johnson will be visiting Sydney and Melbourne from Monday November 13th through until Friday November 17th weaving their unmistakable charm and spreading Christmas joy.
Destined to become an enduring festive favourite – the ‘Christmas’ album (originally released in 2004) has been expanded to 20 tracks, with two additional recordings featuring Australia’s own Jess & Matt, especially for this Australian Exclusive release. The album is a mixture of traditional Christmas songs and original recordings on the theme of Christmas, each expertly delivered in Chris’ distinctive and seductive croon.
The two new tracks open the album; the traditional ‘Silent Night’ and an original song – a unique angle on a Christmas song ‘Dogs Love Christmas Too’. Each new song features Jess & Matt from 2015’s season of X-Factor Au, on which Chris was a mentor.
To celebrate the Puppy themed new track – Chris is inviting fans to post Christmas-themed images of their Dogs on instagram, with the hashtag #dogslovechristmastoo and the Dogs name in the caption. Chris will select his favourite puppy pics to put together a video for the song.
The November promo trip continues a long mutual love between Chris Isaak and Australia, evidently displayed in his long chart and touring success here.
