To me, it means his manager was with him at a professional appearance, which she presumably booked for him because that's what musician's managers get paid to do.
If you want to imagine that they are a couple because she goes to his gigs frequently, then I'd say you might do well to examine your fixation on their lives, and on your potential need for a mate of your own, which you seem to be projecting onto others.
