I understand your hate for Donald Trump but why would that stop you from going to a Chris Isaak concert?
Good on you for standing up for what you believe but it sounds like you need a little of that frivolous you speak of to balance out all the activism.
Doing good doesn't mean you shouldn't be good to yourself too. Balance is important for the soul.
There's some Buddhist or Zen thing about holding on to a piece of burning coal and expecting it to hurt somebody else.
I doubt Isaak or many of his fans voted for the guy.
Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't understand why you would stop doing something that has brought you joy in the past.
