In reply to: The 13 months of shows that were cancelled "weren't affected"? 's message, ""Isn't affecting his tour"?? You mean the tour that was cancelled?" on 16:15:09 02/20/17 Mon

No, I think you are the one that needs to stop and reassess. The private life of a business owner is NOT any business of customers - what world do you live in where you think it is ? The only reason the health of Chris was appropriate to mention in the cancellation of the tour dates was that it is a logical reason to cancel the tour. Would it have been appropriate to announce that he was cancelling because he wanted to hang out in Barbados ? No.

The reason businesses use social media is the same they might place an ad in a paper or on TV - it is about promotion. If Chris and his team don't want to use Social Media as a promotion tool, that is his/their choice.

I find your apparent demands that he does, strange and it tends to indicate to me at least that you have only ever known a world with Social Media. Lots of us, including me, see Social Media as a relatively new thing say in contrast to newspaper advertising. If Social Media is 'new' to me (and I am younger than Chris) then so may Chris eg it may not have the same level of importance to Chris as it does to you, or for example my 20 year old nephew who can't comprehend a world without instant messaging.

I suppose I am simply trying to say, everyone's priorities are different, don't get your knickers twisted thinking that everyone should have the same opinion as you or you are going to have a very uncomfortable life.
