Subject: 12 days of Chrismas

I doubt anyone who reads here doesn’t know this, but Chris and Co are doing the 12 days of “Chrismas” and for the pedantic among us, I’ve decided that makes it begin when he says it does, versus beginning December 25th. Frankly, I need all the cheer.

What’s your favorite of his? At a live show when I don’t have to stay seated, I love dancing around to Last Month Of The Year. Also adore Christmas On TV and the Jimmy Stewart impression. I choke up with Pretty Paper and I need tissue with Silent Night and do sing along, when requested. I kind of sound like Jack, but not as cute.

I know I’ve said how much I rely on David Lynch’s weather report for respite and it’s nice to know he thinks of the “great Chris Isaak” too as a track in his mind. I will say, I probably do more often than David Lynch, though. I find that every day I wake up with a song in my head. I was trying to write it down every day. I should do that again. I need a bedside table. Maybe Santa will bring one. Anyway, be like your pal Chris, stay safe, do puzzles, binge some shows, and maybe we’ll see some shows in 2021.

Thanks so much baby for keeping us entertained whilst at home. <3
