I don't know CB or their friendship, which is just a guess at their acquaintance; but, yes, stalking or obsession is no fun. I have an ex that won't give it up. It is unnerving to wonder if he'll show up. I just make sure my friends know and try not to be alone at things he may guess I'll be at. It's a restriction of freedom and not romantic or caring. Again, I'm not saying that's the case with CI and CB, though. She did say something about them talking and he has said he's friends with exes, who he's very gracious about their qualities.
