Subject: Like I said, he loves playing music with the guys. Being on the road is something he has
In reply to: I never said his life was all a bed of roses 's message, "As they do for everyone" on 20:26:03 10/24/16 Mon

Of course I don't know who wrote what (I am not like the crazy that thinks they know what everyone posts, lol), but the two things I was responding to were:

"I wonder how great that would be.
Considering so many of us have jobs that totally suck in the STRESS and UNREWARDING department. We spend so much time at our jobs, it really does interfere and become a part of the person we are outside of hell. ;( To have people cheer to see you, always be smiling at you. I really wonder...."
I agree that he is Very lucky regarding his job. Like I said, he has made the choices, but the stresses in his "job" do have a big effect on him when he is "off". I put it in quotes because he is always working. He is always writing, coming up with ideas for the tour, doing press, getting other things ready - it doesn't stop. For most of us, we leave the office (or wherever) and are off. He isn't. Another trade-off. When it comes to the "people cheer to see you, always smiling at you", that is Great at a show. When he isn't doing a show, he doesn't always want to have people coming up to him. Obviously, they don't always do it, but it sets up a different mindset when you are just going about life. I think we all have days when we really don't want anyone to talk to us. ;-)

and

"What's not to like? Something new to see every day. Everything you need for the asking, with a whole staff to handle all the details. He has the perfect balance of travel time and home time."
He doesn't have the perfect balance. The road takes a lot out of you & he doesn't always take enough down time when he gets sick.
