But I'm too cheap to fork over money for some one to shake my hand and get a photo op. These days autographs aren't enough. Selfies are the new autographs. It's a money making arrangement for the artist and promoter? Once artists add up the dollar signs, it makes business sense as time is money.
Additionally, less germs to deal with.
