None of us know if Chris actually is healthy (as in "doth protest too much"). For people who've never had diseases, it would never occur to them to publicly joke about them as much as he does.
And for the second point, sex and marriage are not the same thing. If a man, by lifestyle choice, chose not to marry, then trying to get him into marriage could be a guarantee of divorce (and a hefty pre nup to make sure the woman does not profit).
