Subject: Truly Madly Deeply
So we all know that Chris is my one true love and that doesn't prevent me from being so sad that Alan Rickman passed away. I admit I did kind of fancy Mr. Rickman. C'mon 2016, what's the deal?!? Truly Madly Deeply is one of my favorite movies and an entrancing view of the depth of love, which includes honor, wanting the best for someone else and the longing after the person who fits with one like no other. He was the patient and honorable heart in Sense and Sensibility too. In real life he was with his one true love from his age 19 and she 18. David Bowie also knew Iman was the one and pursued her ardently - they had almost 25 years together. Yes, there are still loving bonds which endure and it's sad when death tears them asunder. But, I think something remains that's a little more robust than simply memories and, of course, for fans we have their art. Best to his wife and family.
