Subject: What a load of utter BS

Used by people who very clearly haven't the first clue about the realities of the health insurance racket and have never had to deal with it beyond signing the enrollment form in the HR office. Every single health insurance plan there is is subject to ACA so they are ALL "Obamacare". Undocumented immigrants are NOT eligible for premium assistance or tax credits on their health plans. But if they can prove they meet the financial guidelines for Neducare, they can get on a Medicare plan.

Maybe your friend pays more than he used to because A) insurance companies crank up their rates EVERY year and B) costs are more evenly divided now so he no longer has someone else covering his costs for him.

Do you think that anyone without insurance can just go get fixed up at s a county hospital, no questions asked?
Do you think that only unemployed people don't have coverage, because they can't afford it?
Do you think that all employed people get coverage through their employers?
Do you realize that without Obamacare, insurance companies can refuse coverage to anyone for anything? To an otherwise healthy person who was born with a birth defect? Refuse to cover chemo for a 20 year old cancer patient because "they're too young so they shouldn't have gotten cancer"?

I'm frequently astounded at the misconceptions and lack of understanding of the system by most people.
