So what do you think you are achieving by electing Trump ? A man with no public service and only said throughout the campaign whatever he thought would work. Already he has removed a significant number of election 'promises' from his - so what actually is he going to change ? He didn't win the majority of votes so you can't actually say he was the peoples choice.
Good luck. I think you were certainly in a difficult position with those 2 candidates but I would much have preferred HC and then you would have had 4 years to start reforming your electoral system or at least demand a better set of options for the next election.
BTW 'right to bear arms' you do realise that the rest of the sane world thinks the US is crazy for continuing this weird obsession with having guns so that children can be murdered in their school rooms by mentally unstable people or killed in their parents closet when they find the hidden gun kept 'for protection'. I would be interested in your view if your mother/brother/sister/child was killed as a result of someone who exercises this right. Surely, it is better to stop 1 person being killed even if you have to stop 1000 people owning a gun.
