Yeah, I built a message detailing exactly what's going on with his site. Apparently his ISP has fargged up their DNS server.

I tried sending him a note, and it bounced, (no surprise there).

Using TraceRoute (a nifty utility that doesn't rely on DNS to see where things are) I found out that his ISP is netservers.net (down in LA). I've sent a note to their technical contact, but haven't heard anything back yet.

I'm guessing that Phil doesn't even know that there's a problem, other than the fact that his pages are getting next to no hits.
