I've decided that the only way that I can enforce that I provide some form of regular update to TGC was to tie releases to something that follows a regular schedule.

To that end, I've decided to have my kidneys removed.

Sure, it was painful and a bit distrubing waking up in that bathtub packed in ice, but I did it for you. My loyal fan base.

In order to undergo dialysis, I have to publish a new chapter (and have it be somewhat amusing). If all goes well, I get to live for another couple of weeks. If not, well, that's yet another reason to end each chapter with a cliffhanger.

Plus, I've found that having a blood stream full of toxins really helps give a unique edge to my writing.
