Ok, nice chapter. Now we're actually starting to see where the story is going to go. Like the pilot episode of "Sons of Thunder" where those two guys left "Walker: Texas Ranger" and started their own private investigation firm and the first episode was just an adventure but just laid the groundwork for the later continuity and all the real story lines and stuff came later (I'm a fiction author, I can use words like 'continuity' and not sound pretentious.... ok, I'm allowed to sound pretentious too).

Anyway... I got the foreshadowing about when JB talks in the funny BOLD ON/BOLD OFF voice. But when he talks like that, am I the only one who reads it in iambic pentameter?

Also, the chatroom made me laugh. I like that aspect of your layout, that you can throw stuff like that in.

And also also wick, why do I suddenly have "Hello my baby, Hello my honey" stuck in my head?
