Ooh! Goody, our first mystery.

Here's my thought... He got the mask, which seems to be the key, at the Salvation Army. The voice was also alive in 1943, apparently. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was the original owner of the mask, probably SuperiourMan.

Or maybe it's Ken/Bill Griffith, the reporter/super villain with multiple personalities.
