Ooh. Actually I had that one kinda pegged during Episode 1. My questions were more along the lines of who the second sith was (Darth Maul wasn't it) and whether Palpatine was actually a clone himself and thus free of the Force Boojums allowing him to wander freely amongst the Jedi or if he was a puppet installed by the console. From what I know about Episode 2 the second (and more interesting plot) isn't the one that Lucas went for. As for the balance, the Jedi were a huge exclusive military force that tested infants (remember, the eight year old Anakin was deemed "too old") for a select trait, and if the child had the trait, he was taken from his family and indoctrinated into their psuedo religious cult. They had a huge headquarters located in the pricer neighborhood of the Republic. The Sith were two guys working out of a trailer for all we know. of course the funniest damn thing was that after Anakin brought balance, his kid TOTALLY screwed it up by killing off the last two Sith. Hmm, maybe that was the reason that all the Jedi Apparitions were smiling. They knew that it was just a matter of time before the Metaphysical Hammer fell and the last Jedi joined their ranks.
