I usually start over the knee but I rarely finish there. If he is going to use most implements paddle cane strap it is more effective with a bigger swing ( yes I am stubborn ). When he puts me over his knee it is extremely embarrassing and I feel like a bratty 5 year old about to get her bottom tanned. I have to stand in front of him while he takes his time undressing me. Once I am over his knee I feel so vulnerable and connected to him but still embarrassed a little. Once he starts spanking the only thing I feel is my butt and after it is over I feel a sense of calm and forgiven. I always have a few minutes of Conner time to reflect and cry it out if needed. After the my time out is up he always makes sure to cuddle or show me other affection so I know I am still cared for and everything is behind us at least for a little while
