Hi W-s.. Yes, any spanking I receive holds some degree of eroticism for me. If it's a good-girl spanking, the eroticism is there all the time. If it's a discipline spanking for as you say, "the desire to atone for misbehavior" then it does fade a bit, or a lot depending on how severe the spanking is, and also why I'm being spanked, and what the mood is at the time. I can tell you though that once the spanking ends and I'm being consoled and forgiven, the eroticism is as strong as ever. Especially if I've had a fire lit in my butt cheeks.. :)

As to your second question, I think for me it has to do a lot with my childhood spankings, and the fact that I did resist a lot. I still sort of have that mentality ingrained in my emotional thoughts when faced with a real spanking, even now as an adult. A spanking for me is not so much about the spanking, or the pain, but about me loosing control and having someone else take charge and make the decisions as to what/how it is going to happen to me.
