I also found a story on nj.com, which I got to via the NYCNJ Hoops link above, on Beers' play last night. Charlie Villanueva, his Top Ten teammate headed to Illinois is quoted as follows: "Mike's been doing a great job for us all season but he really got off tonight. He was the key player in the game."

Not bad for a guy from Broadalbin on a team with Villanueva and Luol Deng.
