Subject: What might have been (20/20 Hindsight)

Many will remember last year when the recruitment for the final scholarship involved Donald Copeland (Seton Hall), Karon Bradley (Marquette) and Darien Chavis (Colorado State) among others before the 'ship went to Jamal. One of the others was Todd Okeson, who was a soph at a Kansas Juco, perhaps Dodge City. He wound up going to Nevada, and I thought I saw his name on the agate at the bottom of the screen during one of the EsPN games last night, so I did some checking. Okeson is among the nation's leaders in 3 point FG % at .529 and led the country through games of Feb. 3. He has been in double figures in 12 of the 19 games he has played and is averaging 10.2 PPG for 13-8 Nevada, which is second in the WAC behind Fresno St., which Nevada beat in late January.
