Subject: team worked on press for an entire practice

now that being said.............much like Mitchell indicated in post game Fox interview...........the team was ready for it, knew how to break it, but DID NOT execute when it counted.......they completely took the blame for that. One of the problems is they are too passive in their attempt to solve it, and must be aggressive against such pressure...........spacing, passing, screens all need to be crisp & deliberate, rather than helter skelter chaos. Jamal is much better at attacking it and moving forward, where Tommy (who has lost some confidence when faced against it) is very very tentative.......it will be up to Lanier to decide how the line up goes, based upon the situation. This is not like a devastating situation, the team has plenty of solid ball handlers, and athletic players to make it work.............it would also help a great deal if the big men were more sound with their decisions when making the proper pass, at times they are key to the success in breaking it when guards are trapped.
