Subject: How much of a mess is it?

The coaching staff thought they were doing the right thing with Jackson - for some reason (I won't even take a stab since y'all have 10,000 theories of your own), he isn't playing or it isn't working.

As for mess, I honestly didn't expect better than 14 wins in the regular season. I didn't feel we had the shooters, I didn't feel we had solid ballhandling, I wasn't sure if the freshmen would really be as they were touted (turns out they are even better). I just wasn't sold that Lanier & staff have the ability to manufacture wins at this point in time.

There have been some sweet highs and some ugly lows with this bunch - I don't think it would be quite reasonable to throw in the towel on the season. I would hope the coaching staff is learning from mistakes big & small. I guess we'll see what happens in Trenton, and we'll see what happens in the offseason.
