A rock concert?? I'll give you that for the MAAC Tournament and maybe a couple of the big games against the better known opponents, but thats about it. Other than that, Siena fans sit back and wait for excitement to come to them instead of creating an environment for the players to excel in. I am not saying that Siena fans need to become the Cameron Crazies overnight, but at least give support to a team that you claim to be a loyal fan to. Late in the Marist and Rider games, when a win was a long shot - but not out of the question, you could hear a pin drop anywhere in the arena. Instead of some type of a rally cheer, you heard the sounds of coats zipping up and seats folding while people left the building. I completely understand that it is more difficult to get excited for your team when the game is boring, but think of it from the players aspect. Its just as hard for a player to get motivated when all they hear from their fans are boos and heckling about their play. If you are going to criticize the team for not giving you something to cheer about, then at least see it from both sides of the table. Try a little support for the home team and their might be something to cheer about after all!! Peace
