Subject: sectional news and it aint good

cohoes has to forfeit their wins and championship because of an ineligible player.
the big deal about this is that instead of a 2 seed they are now a 5 seed.
this affects the brackett by taking away the advantage of the 1 seed. normally the 1 and 2 do not meet until the brackett finals. unfair to penalize the 1 seed for a mistake the 2 seed makes.
secondly the section announced that they are going to be playing boys and girls games at the same site.
girls will start at 6 and boys at 7:30.
this is a crock of shit being forced upon us by the sectional committee.
their reason being.... "we dont want to split up the big crowds"
hell the big crowds are sellouts anyway. now that many more people wont be able to get in.
STUPID STUPID STUPID
someone has got to step up and tell the girls they aint what the public wants to see.
its a good thing i have a pass to these games cuz i certainly would not want to drive 25 miles to a game and find out i cant get in.
if they expect a big turnout for a girls game and a big turnout for a boys game then common sense says they better consider playing all the games at a site that can hold them.
such as glens falls or the pepsi.
