Beers is a lights out shooter that demands attention. rdjc you hit the nail on the head with your statement, after hitting 3 three pointer M Zion went man to man.... and lets not forget Beers can hit 3 ,4, 5, 6 three pointers in a row if left alone in a zone. How often does Siena see man to man now that we are in the MAAC schedule? Very seldom, most MAAC teams cannot handle our big men in a man-to-man situation. Remember all our big men return next year. Beers will serve his purpose and that will be to prevent teams from zoning us. And if they do go zone Mike is very capable of coming in and hit multiple 3’s in a row. I don’t expect Beers to be a super star next year, like Arc says he will be a weapon in the arsenal a lights out 3 point shooter.
