I agree with your analysis and add the mark of a coach is his ability to prepare a team, mentally and strategically, and to adjust during the game-Lanier has not shown that he can do either consistently.

Why did he not call a time out in an effort to stop momentum? I can understand a philospohical difference in calling or not calling time outs to change momentum, but this team has not demonstrated the abilty to play through difficult times. Why a time out with .6 seconds down 5?
