I don't disagree that fan expectations should consider that inexperienced players are being used, but the challenge for the coach is to display patience while also demanding improved performance. The "defensive" performances of late havenott been improvements. I also believe that Lanier's "seson"is the length of his contract. I am sure he is aware that others have capitalized on a successful season or two to obtain employment at a higher level. He is a great recruiter and will have a successful season or two after he has only his recruits in the program.
